That geography also drives price. A round trip from a Pueblo West address to the transfer station off Highway 50 runs roughly 15–20 miles each way and burns 50–70 minutes with unload time and scale queue. Tipping fees land around $40–$60 per ton depending on material. A full truck of household junk weighs 1,800–3,000 lbs.
